The simple idea behind all of this.
Most of the internet today is selling something. Even when it's free, it's mining your attention, your data, your habits. The trade is rarely fair.
ViLoLabs started from a much smaller idea โ what if we just built things people actually need, and then got out of the way? A worksheet a parent can print in two clicks. A QR code that works without an account. A blog post that tells you the real petrol price across the border. A PDF tool that doesn't upload your file to a stranger's server.
That's it. That's the entire pitch.
What we're building.
ViLo Worksheets
Beautiful printable worksheets for parents, teachers and learners. Pre-KG through Grade 5, plus colouring, mazes, sudoku and tracing sheets. Generated on the fly, one click to PDF, no signup. Free forever.
ViLo Pulse
Sharp, data-driven reads on money, technology, society and everyday life. Interactive charts, no fluff. Every number is cross-checked against at least two independent sources before we publish. Readable in 10 minutes or less.
ViLo Tools
QR generators, image resizers, PDF compressors, image-to-PDF converters. Everything runs in your browser โ your files never leave your device. No signup, no watermarks, no upload limits. Simple, fast, free to use.
The things we won't compromise on.
Principles only matter when they cost you something. These cost us something โ slower growth, less revenue, more work โ and we keep them anyway.
Privacy-first by design
Tools process files in your browser โ your files don't get uploaded. We keep tracking minimal and we don't sell your personal data, ever.
Data integrity
Every number in a Pulse post is verified against at least two independent sources before publish. We list every source, with working URLs.
Honest about AI
We use AI to draft, organise, and accelerate โ never to mislead. Tools are tested. Numbers are checked. Mistakes are flagged openly.
Reliable, repeatable, responsible
A worksheet generated today should look the same a year from now. A tool used by one user should work for a thousand. Things should just work.
Respect your time
If we run ads or sponsorships in future, they'll be relevant and unobtrusive. No dark patterns, no fake urgency, no countdowns designed to pressure you.
Built in India, for everyone
Proudly designed and built from India. Small studio, no investors, no growth pressure โ and made for anyone, anywhere, who values quality and care.
What this means in practice.
For every blog post
- Numbers verified against 2+ independent sources (regulators, official agencies, established outlets).
- Twitter/X infographics, Reddit comments, and listicles are never accepted as primary sources.
- Every source linked at the bottom. You can verify everything yourself.
- Updates are timestamped. If data is older than 60 days for fast-moving prices (fuel, currency, gold), it gets refreshed or removed.
For every tool
- Files don't leave your browser โ everything processes locally on your device.
- No mandatory signup to use the core feature.
- If we add paid features later, the basic version stays free and useful โ no bait-and-switch.
- Visible reminder on each page that tools can make mistakes โ always review output before printing or sharing.
For every worksheet
- Free to print, free to share, free to use in classrooms.
- Generation happens in your browser. We don't store what you generated unless you share or print it.
- If you don't like the result, regenerate as many times as you want. We only count the ones you actually use.
How we keep the lights on.
Most sites hide this part. We'd rather just tell you. Our intent is simple โ build things worth using, and earn enough from them to keep building for the long run.
Most of what we make is free, and stays free. Worksheets, tools, blog posts โ open to everyone, no signup walls, no paywalls. To sustain that, we earn through two channels:
- Affiliate links on blog posts and tool pages โ only for products we'd actually use ourselves. Always clearly marked as affiliate, so you know.
- Tasteful ads on some pages, picked to be relevant to what you're reading. No autoplay, no popups, no dark patterns, no fake urgency.
The lines we won't cross: your data won't be the product. We won't sell your information. We won't use deceptive flows. How we make money will always be visible on the page and easy to ignore if you want to. If something on the site ever feels pushy or off, tell us โ we'll fix it.
Most of our tools run entirely in your browser, so your files never leave your device. If we ever build a tool that genuinely needs to send your data to a server (some things just can't be done client-side), we'll say so clearly on that tool's page โ what's sent, why, where it goes, and how long it stays. No quiet uploads. No fine-print surprises.
What's next.
We're still small. Three product lines live, more in the queue. The roadmap is shaped by what people actually use โ not by what looks impressive in a pitch deck.
Coming soon: a multi-language layer for worksheets so children can learn in their preferred language, more tools (PDF-to-Word, signature placement, watermark removal), and a simple newsletter for readers who want one good post a week instead of doom-scrolling for one.
No timelines. No countdowns. It ships when it's good.
