Cookie Policy

Last updated: May 2026  ·  Effective: May 2026

Short version: ViLoLabs uses very few cookies. We don't run advertising networks, sell data, or track you across the web. This page explains exactly what we use and why.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to the website operator.

Cookies can be first-party (set by ViLoLabs directly) or third-party (set by external services we use). They can also be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (remain on your device for a set period).

2. Cookies We Use

ViLoLabs uses a minimal set of cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, behavioural tracking cookies, or cross-site tracking of any kind.

Cookie / Source Type Purpose Duration
Browser session Essential Standard browser session handling required for the site to function correctly (page rendering, navigation). Session
Google Fonts Third-party We load fonts (Cormorant Garamond, Outfit) from Google Fonts. Google may set cookies and log your IP address when fonts are served. We do not control this. Varies (Google)

We do not use cookies for:

  • Advertising or retargeting
  • Cross-site user tracking
  • Social media tracking pixels (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
  • Analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc.)
  • A/B testing or personalisation

3. Third-Party Cookies

The only third-party service that may set cookies on our site is Google Fonts, used to load our website typefaces. This is a technical dependency — Google may log the request your browser makes to fetch the fonts, which could include your IP address and browser information.

We have no control over Google's cookies. For information about how Google uses this data, please see Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not use Google Analytics, Google Ads, or any other Google tracking product beyond Fonts.

4. How to Control Cookies

You have full control over cookies through your browser settings. You can:

  • Block all cookies — though this may affect how some websites function.
  • Delete existing cookies — clearing your browser's cache and cookies removes any stored cookies.
  • Allow cookies only from specific sites — most browsers support whitelisting.

Instructions for managing cookies in common browsers:

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Apple Safari
  • Microsoft Edge

Please note that blocking cookies may affect the appearance of our website (fonts may fall back to system defaults if Google Fonts is blocked).

5. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Since ViLoLabs does not engage in cross-site tracking, the DNT signal has no practical effect on how our site operates. We treat all visitors the same — we don't track anyone.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy if we add new features or third-party services. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We recommend checking back periodically.

We will never add advertising or tracking cookies without clearly updating this policy first.

7. More Information

This Cookie Policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, which together govern your use of ViLoLabs.

If you have questions about our use of cookies, please reach out via the contact form on our website.
